Welcome To TV Stands Online!

I want to welcome you to our website. Thank you for taking the time to visit us at TV Stands Online. We hope that you will find the information provided to be useful in your search.

I know that when I started looking around for the right stand for my new television set I had a tough time finding something that would work well for me. I had just purchased a 65″ LCD TV and was looking around for something to set it on. What I  found was that, most of the time, they were only made for sets up to 52″. Even full entertainment systems did not provide an a reasonable answer as they were also geared towards the average size CRT, DLP, Flat Screen, LCD, or Plasma TV.

So I decided that it would be helpful to create a website that people can come to that will assist them in their search, and possibly keep them from experiencing some of the headache and time consumption that I experienced in my quest for TV stands in the right price ranges.

As this site grows we hope to include some reviews of popular stands, some information about custom work, where you can go to purchase your TV stands, what to consider when searching for TV stands for your new or existing sets, and what our recommendations are for different size sets. Of course, we will be adding information on what our favorite ideas are and information we have found useful when trying to make our decisions on purchases. We will also discuss some alternate options to going out and purchasing a new one.  We are a new site so check back often for updates, information, and new posts.

We also hope to, at some point in the future, offer some discounts and deals to our readers. As we are able to solidify some relationships with our chosen manufacturers and custom design folks we will let you know about them as soon as they are set.

We would also love to hear from you! Drop us an email (you can find this on our Contact page) and let us know what you would like to see or any questions you might have about this site. We will work hard to give you the information you need and want to see.

So look around, check out the posts and enjoy your time on our site. Thank you for stopping by to see us!

Setting up our new LG forty-two inch flat screen in a prominent view area is more of a challenge than saving up for the purchase of the new component. Consumers almost never realize the cost of ownership when it comes to televisions buying until they get the product home and then try to figure clever and or creative ways to place their set so everyone can enjoy viewing it from their favorite spot in the living room. A tall TV stand is probably going to be the best bet for safely securing the televisions and raising it up enough for everyone to easily view the display comfortably.

One the most optimized heights for a large room is about four feet off the ground, and the 48 tall TV stand is made just for this reason. Most people are sitting in a recliner like chair or sofa when view a DVD or their favorite episode of Holmes on Homes. So the extra height will allow them the benefit of not having to lower their head to a position where it will stress their neck muscles and cause pain from extended periods of staying in that position.

In the bedroom or a small anti-room, a tall height may be required but nothing like in the living room. A 30 tall TV stand will usually accommodate the causal television view while lying in bed or sitting in their reading chair. You may want to check with the company that sold you the current bedroom furniture set and see if they have one of these that match the dresser and night stands. Most furniture makers today are realizing that home entertainment centers are needed for almost every room in the home, and they are expanding their lines to cover these necessities for their customers.

If you want the style and grace of quality furniture and the function of a higher viewing area, then the Chesapeake tall TV stand is the best selection you can make when it comes to a fashionable home entertainment system enclosure. Can You Afford To Install Your Own Television Brackets?

The standard television in most homes currently are a flat-screen LCD model with a varying size of thirty eight to fifty inches. Mounting such a large device to a wall is not at all difficult, but without the proper television brackets you are doomed for the possibility of your new home entertain gadget ending up on the floor with some very non flattering cracks in the display area. The old adage of having the right tool for the job, can be applied to this situation, as some people will try to do this installation on the cheap and realize less than remarkable results.

There is a television bracket made for every TV sold on the market, and then are several third party versions that will work in place of the OEM products. Securely fastening a huge piece of display real estate like the Vizio VF551XVT fifty five inch class TruLED HDTV should be taken seriously as the investment alone is well over a thousand dollars and irreplaceable without homeowners insurance if physical damage occurs. If you do not feel confident enough to secure your TV with the brackets to the wall and run the cabling behind the sheet rock, then it may be time to bring in professional or choose a more traditional TV stand.

Most TV mounting failures occur due to lack of following precise directions that are offered in the owner’s manual. Television wall brackets are never at fault if installed properly, and it is usually a contest of weight and support, and the cheesy ninety nine cent package of anchor bolts you purchased at Wally World on the way home, may not be your finest moment.

The television wall brackets must be mounted onto a stud in the wall or preparation for the installation area must be made by demolishing part of the wall and installing the proper support hardware to make a successful sub-structure to hold the TV in place for years to come. Unless you are adept to running electrical wiring, and routing networking cables, dish or digital cable box cables, and other accessory add-ons, then employ the help of a home theater expert to get you past this entertainment hump in the road.

Television wall mount brackets (which are also called wall mount TV stands) are simple in construction and will actually hold more weight than they are rated, but the simple fact that the installation must be spot on stymies most consumers, and tragically they soon have a huge paper weight that Law and Order will not be playing on anytime soon. The problem is mostly that people want to install their LCD TV’s in certain places but never considered the budgetary restraints of having to do a mini remodel job in the living room to accomplish this task. A small project like this can run about one to three thousand dollars, depending on the construction circumstances, and what your contractor charges for labor and materials.

It is no one’s fault that there isn’t always an easy way to utilize LCD television brackets, but doing it correctly will preserve your television, and prevent harm to a family member if your unit falls off the wall and injures you or one of them indirectly. For such an inexpensive item, the support work involved can be quite an undertaking. A pine TV stand or oak entertainment center may be a more viable alternative, unless you can afford the in home mini-makeover. The simple fact that you may have to re-engineer the layout of your living room to accommodate your new home theater may be more than your spouse can handle, so take all of the above into consideration before coming home with that electronic acreage you call a TV screen.
